Metropolis take on Birmimgham
Metropolis surveyors, part of the Kings Group, had the privilege of attending the Openwork Conference held at the Birmingham International Conference Centre (ICC). Openwork is the 3rd largest Mortgage Network in the United Kingdom. The annual conference was attended by over 500 advisors and businesses.
Openwork is supported by all major lenders, investment, pension and protection providers. The Openwork conference was hosted by Lenny Henry with key note speakers James Caan and Daley Thompson.
Metropolis Surveyors attended the conference to offer and discuss the services available to Mortgage Brokers and Advisors and their clients. This enables the team at Metropolis surveyors to engage directly with mortgage and financial advisors to effectively discuss the benefits of using Metropolis Surveyors to assist their clients with the buying process.
Through out the course of the day, they discussed with the brokers how they need to treat their customers fairly by explaining the benefits of using metropolis surveyors to conduct Homebuyers and building surveys.
Metropolis surveyors pride theirselves on providing an excellent service and this in turn keeps the advisors and their clients informed throughout the process.
Overall they had excellent feedback from the conference and as a result, plan to schedule many more through out the course of the year all over the United Kingdom.

KIngs Group see ambitous Growth Plans
Kings Group, the parent compnay of Thomas Oliver are delighted to announce the opening of their brand new flagship office in Green Lanes Haringey on Monday 5 September.
This is yet uirther testimony to the fact that the right businesses with the right busness acumen can grow and develop even in these difficult times.
in addition to this Kings Group have jus announced the acquisition of a further site for a new office in Mare St Hackney, with more planned in the very near future.

Rett Syndrome
Thomas Oliver UK and Kings Group are delighted to support the Rett Syndrome Association UK, after having heard about Francesca Ross from Dunstable, who suffers from this rare genetic disorder.
It is very difficult to diagnose, and affects mainly girls, and very rarely boys, but the effects are devastating for the children and their families. Disabilities are profound and the children are totally dependent on those around them, for life.
There is little awareness to this condition, but last year there was a breakthrough in research, with the reversal of Rett symptoms in a mouse! Obvioulsy this is a long way from a developed cure, but gives hope to the children and families, that something may happen!

Kings Group - Mortgage Strategy Awards
We are delighted to announce that our parent Company, Kings Group have achieved 3rd place in the Mortgage Strategy Awards, in the Best Mortgage Broker Category. This is a national recognition award, and the awards were held on 24th February at the Grosvenor House Hotel in Central London. This prestigous ceremony is held annually by Mortgage Strategy, the UK's leading weekly Mortgage Magazine for Professionals. The judging panel consisted of many of the industry's key influencers, many being heads of the UK's leading mortgage lenders. It is a great achievement considering Kings were up against some very large, national companies, and proof that the smaller firms can sometimes "tower" above the bigger and more well known businesses.
We are proud to be part of the Kings Group, and our sincere congratulations go out to all those involved. Well done!
