Kings Group & Thomas Oliver Awards Night: Celebrating Excellence and Giving Back

Our fantastic awards evening unfolded on 16th of March at the Harlow Football Club, the town’s premier venue for functions and events. The atmosphere was filled with excitement and anticipation as guests gathered to celebrate the remarkable achievements of the past year, all while supporting two worthy causes—the Hertfordshire Community Foundation (HCF) and the children’s Magical Taxi Tour.
The event, jointly organised by Kings Group and Thomas Oliver, was not just an occasion to honour accomplishments but also an opportunity to give back to the community. HCF, a vital charitable organisation dedicated to improving the lives of people in Hertfordshire, and the Magical Taxi Tour, a wonderful and uplifting children’s charity, received tremendous support throughout the evening.
Top Award for Thomas Oliver Mortgage Adviser
Amidst the ambience of camaraderie and goodwill, awards were presented to deserving individuals from both Kings Group and Thomas Oliver. Among the recipients was Romany Yousab, our Nottingham based Mortgage Adviser at Thomas Oliver, who clinched the prestigious Thomas Oliver Top Adviser award. Romany was hailed for his unwavering commitment to providing outstanding mortgage advice and services, not only in Nottingham but across the UK.
Debbie Bell, Practice Principal at Kings Group, expressed her delight at the success of the evening, saying, "It was a wonderful night, and it's always lovely to be able to celebrate achievements with our staff and directors. Both Thomas Oliver and Kings Group have plenty of reasons to celebrate this year, especially in the midst of the Cost of Living crisis. It's incredible to see our teams come together to support such inspiring charities and make a positive impact in our community."
The night was more than just an awards ceremony; it was a testament to the dedication and hard work of individuals who strive for excellence in their respective fields. It served as a reminder that even in challenging times, there is always room for celebration and giving back to those in need.
Supporting Essential Local Charities
In addition to the awards, funds were raised during Raffles and Heads & Tails games to fill up the charity pot, adding to the evening's spirit of generosity and support.
