Thomas Oliver’s Charitable Donations – 2017-2022

We are pleased to present our updated breakdown of the funds raised over the last five years.

The great news is that we have already transferred £4,840 to charities in 2022 alone! Thanks so much to the team for facilitating this.

Of the total funds raised so far, £11,020 has already been transferred to Hertfordshire Community Foundation (HCF) to support their work.

As part of the Hertfordshire Community Foundation charitable giving strategy, they have applied their multiplier to the Thomas Oliver donation, which has resulted in them providing an additional £5,000. The current running total, which includes this donation, is now £16,020.

Debbie Bell, Financial Services Director in Cheshunt said:

“Supporting local charities that provide such vital work in our communities has always been important to our team at Thomas Oliver. We take a great deal of pride and satisfaction knowing that the money raised will help provide the funds to support those in our community that are in need of assistance. The Hertfordshire Community Foundation are in an ideal position to directly focus their work on those that are in need. The Hertfordshire Community Foundation is a local and fully independent charity which helps to promote compassion and generosity. The foundation offers advice and options to donate. HCF then translate these donations into funding and support for the small charities, voluntary groups, and individuals across Hertfordshire.

In addition to helping HCF, we have also support children and families as part of the Magical Taxi Tour event. The Magical Taxi Tour is a wonderful charity provides sick children with a range of chronic illnesses and sometimes life limiting conditions spend three days in Disney® Paris.”

Hertfordshire Community Foundation Update

In June 2022 a team from Hertfordshire Community Foundation joined the High Sheriff of Hertfordshire, Sally Burton DL, for a very special road trip around Hertfordshire to celebrate ‘Love Herts Day’. The group visited four inspiring charities in our county.
