Thomas Oliver thank the NHS and key workers by clapping for our carers

Thomas Oliver’s financial planning and mortgage broking team joined in and clapped for our carers on Thursday 2^ndApril, to show our support for NHS staff and key workers who are working tirelessly during the Coronavirus outbreak.

The ‘Clap For Our Carers’ campaign started on Thursday 26^th March when people from across the UK stopped what they were doing and came out of their houses and applauded the NHS and key workers, who continue to work and support the rest of the country through the Coronavirus pandemic. 

The campaign website says, “Healthcare workers, emergency services, armed services, delivery drivers, shop workers, teachers, waste collectors, manufacturers, postal workers, cleaners, vets, engineers and all those who are out there making an unbelievable difference to our lives in these challenging times… bravo, you are amazing!”

‘Everyone at Thomas Oliver including our financial advisers, mortgage brokers, administrators and support staff went out on Thursday night at 8pm, as it was a way that we could all show our appreciation to the NHS. We all applauded the work of our fabulous NHS and the amazing key workers. There are teachers who continue to keep schools open and shop workers and delivery drivers who work in supermarkets and pharmacies. Some of our financial planning clients are keyworkers or work in the NHS so our thoughts are with them at this difficult time. We hear the government message and know how important it is for everyone to do their bit and stay home, keep the NHS protected so the NHS can save lives.
